Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you, an internationally leading expert in advanced manufacturing, to submit a paper to Light: Advanced Manufacturing (LAM). This is a new, highly selective, open-access, and free of charge international sister journal of the Nature Journal Light: Science & Applications. The journal is aimed to publish innovative research in all modern areas of preferred light-based manufacturing, including fundamental and applied research as well as industrial innovations.

LAM is published by the Light Publishing Group and sponsored by the Jihua Laboratory (Guangdong Province, Foshan City) in close cooperation with the CIOMP (Changchun, http://english.ciomp.cas.cn/).

This journal will provide a rapid forum for dissemination of original research papers and review articles in related advanced manufacturing. On behalf of the editorial board, we invite you to contribute to the success of the new journal by submitting an invited paper to Light: Advanced Manufacturing. We are convinced that your outstanding work in the field of modern areas of manufacturing will make a valuable contribution to the success of the journal.
